DSEControl Engine Controllers

Because there is no alternator to regulate, no mains to sense and no load to transfer. A pump set, compressor or hydraulic power pack needs start and stop control, engine protection and instrumentation, and the DSEControl modules give that without the generator functions you would pay for and not use.

The DSEE100 covers manual and automatic start, load control and a built-in run-time scheduler for pumps and compressors. The DSEE400 adds speed and clutch control, raises and lowers engine speed as output demand changes, and has an integrated PLC editor so you can build operating modes specific to the machine. The DSEE800 has the PLC editor as well and adds expansion and communications options.

The DSEE400 and DSEE800 work with both electronic and mechanical diesel engines, and control an electronic engine's speed over J1939 TSC1 messages. The DSEE050 eView display supports J1939 electronic engines, including Tier 4 Final and Stage V engine parameters, and controls speed over TSC1 as well. It is a configurable colour display and controller for an electronic engine. You lay out your own screens, event sequences and a branded start-up screen in the DSE Configuration Suite, which is licence-free, and it fits an 82 mm panel cut-out.

In the DSE Configuration Suite PC software, the same tool used across the DSE range. The DSEE100 and DSEE400 also keep an on-board event log for fault finding and preventative maintenance.

Yes, if the engine has the senders the module expects and the panel has room for the cut-out (118 mm by 92 mm for the DSEE100, 220 mm by 160 mm for the DSEE800). Send us the engine plate details and a photo of the existing panel and we will tell you what else the retrofit needs.
