Genset control, from one set to a paralleled installation

DSEGenset is Deep Sea Electronics' generator controller range, and it is the part of the DSE catalogue we sell most of. The sections below follow DSE's own structure, so a module you have specified from a DSE data sheet is where you expect to find it.

Choosing between them usually comes down to three questions: does the set need to start on a mains failure or only on command, does it need to run in parallel with other sets or with the grid, and how many inputs and outputs the installation needs beyond the module's own.

• Auto and manual start — a set started on command or by a remote signal.
• Auto mains (utility) failure — the set starts itself when the supply fails and returns the load when it comes back.
• Load sharing and synchronising — two or more sets sharing a load.
• Advanced paralleling — the G-series, for multi-set and grid-parallel installations.
